Kenyatta University Kitui Campus

Kitui campus is located 2km from Kwa Vonza Market, Lower Yatta District, Kitui County twenty-five (25km) from Kitui town on Kitui-Machakos Road. 

The campus can be accessed by either the Nairobi-Machakos- Kitui road or Nairobi –Thika- Kitui road. The facility is built on a 500-acre land with red volcanic soils which are suitable for agriculture. 

It is endowed with modern fully equipped science laboratories, ICT laboratories, a library, and an amphitheater. Other facilities include a Health Unit Clinic and a contemporary kitchen with a large dining area which is also used as a multipurpose hall.

Currently, the campus can accommodate all students admitted hence creating a silent conducive environment for learning.

 Kenya Medical Training College( KMTC) -KITUI

Background Information

Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) Kitui Campus was established in the year 2004. The Campus is 1 km away from Kitui town and is located along the Hospital road next to Kitui County Referral Hospital. 

The environment is very conducive to learning which makes the Campus excel academically. Kitui Campus admitted its first class of Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing (KRCHN) in September 2004. 

The Campus has since experienced exponential growth, with other programs/courses being introduced over the years.

KMTC Kitui Campus is the Centre of Excellence in Family Planning and Reproductive Health.
